Building & Construction Codes
The Village of Morton Grove has adopted and enforces the codes listed below for building construction, renovation, and property maintenance. The Village Municipal Code establishes the regulations that govern construction activities, property maintenance standards, and code enforcement within the community. Contractors, property owners, and design professionals are responsible for complying with all applicable codes and ordinances before beginning work.
Permit application processing, plan review, and code enforcement are coordinated by the Department of Community and Economic Development, Building and Inspectional Services.
