Water Billing & New Accounts

The Village of Morton Grove is excited to offer residents an easy and convenient method to view and pay their water and sewer use bills online.

Residential customers may pay water bills online with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card, or with debit card linked to a checking or savings account. Customers may choose to make a one-time payment or sign up to have payments made automatically from a designated account each billing period.

Registering your online account (with or without automatic payments) allows you to do the following:

  • sign up for paperless billing
  • store payment account information
  • pay by text
  • send an online request directly to the Village

Other Ways to Pay Your Water Bill

Direct debit is a payment service which makes it more convenient for you to make utility payments to the Village. Your utility payments can now be made automatically from your checking account. The bank account used to pay the utility bill is authorized by you and there are no checks to be lost or delayed in the mail.

To sign up for this convenient direct debit service, complete and return this authorization form. A voided check must accompany the completed form. Drop off or mail both to:

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)

The U.S. Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible low-income households pay for home energy services (primarily heating during winter months). Energy costs can place severe and continuing stress on a family’s budget. In some instances, households are forced to make painful decisions regarding which bills to pay and which necessities to survive without. Illinois residents with a household income that does not exceed an amount determined annually by the Department of Commerce are eligible. Annual eligibility levels are determined based on available funding and may not exceed 200% of the federal nonfarm poverty level. For more information on LIHEAP, visit dceo.illinois.gov/communityservices/utilitybillassistance.html.

Please contact Maine Township, our local intake site, at 847-297-2510 for assistance. Senior residents can also contact the North Shore Senior Center at 847-784-6040 for assistance. Please be patient due to a large call volume.
